Hi all,

I've seen that the lib/kwmf/qwmf class is
Copyright ( C ) 1998 Stefan Taferner
and under GPL.

As I'm looking for a WMF importer for our commercial software, I asked Stefan
Taferner, if it would be OK for him to change the license to LGPL

Here is our conversation:

Feel free to use it under LGPL.

However, I wrote it several years ago. It is quite likely that it is not
100% my code anymore, and I cannot speak for the other authors.

You can of course contact the koffice team, tell them that it is fine
for me, and ask if anybody else objects.

I am out of Kde business for some years, so its hard for me to just
ask around.

Kind regards,
Stefan

So is anybody of the rest of the authors objecting to change it to LGPL ?

BTW: I'm currently looking into this class and found some issues with the EMF
format (and somewhere I found a "not implemented" comment).
I'm going to change that and will of course send you the patch.

Some operating systems are called 'user friendly',
             Linux however is 'expert friendly'.
