Well, current implementation of copy/paste is a bit, well, let's call
it strange. In addition, the part of code that rewrites a formula to
fit into the new cell is a bit scary, so I better don't touch for now.
Changes will happen, that's for sure, but there are other things to
do. This may have to wait till we bring the new formula parser to
life, as copy/paste will probably use the parser's services to change
the formula, instead of that ugly hack that we have now -- hence, it
probably won't happen before 1.5 (or 2.0 or however will the version
after 1.4 be called), sorry. (Unless someone else implements it,
that's it...)

It doesn't mention the whole rewriting stuff either ;) And it will
involve MUCH more that just getting rid of koscript.
