When I run kdeinit, I see (at the bottom):
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: 'kfile_koffice.desktop' specifies undefined
mimetype/servicetype 'application/vnd.kde.kword'
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: 'kfile_koffice.desktop' specifies undefined
mimetype/servicetype 'application/vnd.kde.kpresenter'
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: 'kfile_koffice.desktop' specifies undefined
mimetype/servicetype 'application/vnd.kde.kspread'
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: 'kfile_koffice.desktop' specifies undefined
mimetype/servicetype 'application/vnd.kde.karbon'
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: 'Office/example.desktop' specifies undefined
mimetype/servicetype 'application/x-example'
OK, that last one is a function of the koffice/example that I am building,
but the others look wrong. Thekfile_koffice.desktop entry says:
MimeType=application/x-kword;application/x-kpresenter;application/x-kspread;applicatio \
n/x-karbon;application/vnd.kde.kword;application/vnd.kde.kpresenter;application/vnd.kde.kspread;application/vnd.kde.karbon
The native MIME type (eg in kword.desktop) for kfoo is of the form
application/x-kfoo. Should we add the vnd.kde.kfoo form to the kfoo.desktop
file? Or do we import some (existing?) .desktop files into koffice/mimetypes
directory?
Also, any reason why only karbon, kspread, kword and karbon are in there?
What about the rest of koffice?
Brad
