Well, Qt is still used, so perhaps for KSpread it is enough. (KSpread does not 
use KoText.)

For KWord, I do not know, as it was reported not to work. So either David 
Faure had tried to port to KoText a few things or perhaps Qt is used exactly 
where needed.

(Perhaps David would now more, but he is on vacation for now.)
