Hello again,

There is actually a bug report about this behaviour :

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64685

According to Hasso Tepper, the error only occurs with
bars (my luck). On the other hand, creating charts
with KChart lacks flexibility, you can change colors,
fonts etc. but the way data HAS to be structured is
very rigid. See also bug/wish

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72041

Now, I haven't had the time to test al this, but I
have tried printing my graphs. And that is a real
disaster. Have my data and then my graph. The print
preview gives me a really tiny graph (so there is a
scaling problem) in the middle of my data. It is as if
the scaling of the text is 100% and the graph at 20%,
meaning that, the graph is displayed not at 15cm below
the top of the page, but at 3cm, meaning that it is in
the middle of the data. is this a know issue? I also
think about similar behaviour with other embedded
objects in other KOffice applications...but Istill
have to test that.

Makes me wonder : is KChart still maintained? Is it
abandonware? What is the situation there exactly?

Marc
