Ah, I think that I understand now.

The items on your list are not marked in the code and therefore cannot be 
retrieved by something like: (in one line)

find . -name "*.c*" -o -name "*.h" -print0| xargs -0 grep -n -E 
"(###|TODO|FIXME)"

So what could be done first is a patch to mark them with ### and perhaps with 
a TODO or a FIXME depending on what the problem is.
