I tried to compile a fresh checkout of KOffice today, to go with the the 3.2
beta I just installed, only to find that compiling failed on KPresenter,
which complains about libgmodule. It says it cannot find the libgmodule.la
in /opt/gnome2/lib, which is correct, since it is in /usr/lib.

I am not sure why it is looking in the wrong place (or even why it is looking
for this library at all) -- and I haven't got a clue how to go about fixing
this. There were other libraries I had to install that configure didn't
complain about, but this library is one I have installed, so I thought
configure would find it.

This is the output:

grep: /opt/gnome/lib/libgmodule-2.0.la: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/sed: can't read /opt/gnome/lib/libgmodule-2.0.la: No such file or
directory
libtool: link: `/opt/gnome/lib/libgmodule-2.0.la' is not a valid libtool
archive
make[1]: *** [libkpresenterpart.la] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/boud/prj/koffice/kpresenter'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
