Making it configurable does not make the situation better, and it makes maintianing this 
software harder to do. 
 
Since you don't want to take the alternative options for printing, the only option you 
have left is to (get someone to) remove the dialog in your local version of KDE. 
 
I repeat my request to set this bug to 'wont fix'; as  Aaron said; 
"the downsides are  simply not worth it"
