So you are opening each document in KWord, maybe even editing it and repainting 
after seeing a print dialog is too slow? Here that happens instantaneous; and I certainly 
don't have the fastest machine.  Compared to the opening and editing of a document 
that time (at least here) is negligible. 
 
I'd like to know what kind of annoyance we really are talking about, how much time 
does it take for you?
