You missed Dirk's point.
Print a text from KWrite to a postscript and open that postscript file; you'll
be able to find your original text in the postscript file again.

If you 'interpret' the font and just put strokes in the output file as vector
that in the end will indeed look like text; you will never find that text
in the output file.

Google can search for texts and find that text in a pdf, you loose that
ability.
