Additionally there is xmgr ( http://plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il/Xmgr/ ), which 
can draw functions, import tabulated data, and do various manipulations to 
the data (integrate, transform, histograms, digital filtering,....).

Very powerful, but unusual UI.
Maybe you can have a look at it too.
