One thing I see in the koffice patches (those from Sam Magnuson) is that our use of x11AppDpiX/Y creates trouble. My offer on this is to create two methods in KoGlobal or so, to centralize all the calls to those platform-dependent methods. By doing this we should also be able to support a -dpi command-line option, for people with broken X servers, or to test things .... well, except that Qt also calls x11AppDpiX internally. But at least in cases where Qt works ok but our use of the DPI value is wrong, it could help. To be tested. - -- David Faure -- faure@kde.org, dfaure@klaralvdalens-datakonsult.se Qt/KDE/KOffice developer Klarälvdalens Datakonsult AB, Platform-independent software solutions -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+fZIk72KcVAmwbhARAu94AJ4m/y+cCD4odNnunOophFDPoeTOwgCghD9r aglC+HxaXVHVY1cWkLjngMc= =EvNB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ koffice-devel mailing list koffice-devel@mail.kde.org http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice-devel
