firstly, i don't expect anyone to spend any time thinking about this - i'm just after an 'off the top of the head' answer. So I read on this list that it should be possible to backport wv2 to koffice 1.2.1, and the people here who've tried it wantme to make this happen. anyhow, the question I'm getting at, is do you guys beliece this is worth my effort, or do you guys think that a koffice 1.3 snapshot would be a better thing to look at for deployment? (I'm under some pressure to try this option, as people here want to play with kexi as well, however right now I have no idea of what bugs i'd need to look at fixing - i got burned with that on koffice 1.2 and had to spend far too much time on that redraw cache stuff :-p. if I'm gonna need to do that again, i wanna know in advance this time, since I no longer have a fast computer at home :-p). any thoughts? no-one here is using kspread, so that being broken isn't an issue, but kword is being commonly used, and kexi would be to. - jj -- Jaymz Julian aka A Life in Hell Coder, Visionary, Fat Ass.
