Summary: Associating file types with all supported filetypes
           Product: koffice
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Slackware Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: koffice-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: frans.englich@telia.com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

(are not running 3.1, actually 3.0.1 but wanted to report it anyway so..)

KWord version is 1.2.1

Alot of KOffice apps support many different file formats but don't get \
associated with them. A novice user which want to open his/her ms doc file \
can't because "it's not supported". I suggest all supported filetypes \
should be associated with it respective app at install. (so people get the \
impression that there _is_ support)

cheers,
Frans
