this is where virtual desktops are cool beyond belief =)

i start a full screen presentation in kpresenter on desktop 1, say, and have 
my demos set up on the other desktops. then, when i want to break from the 
presentation to do a demo in just use the keyboard combo to switch to the 
appropriate demo desktop and then do the same to go back to the kpresenter 
presentation. Ctrl-F2, Ctrl-F1 .. couldn't be easier ...
