Here are a few things come to my mind while working on KPresenter:
* Can we change menu 'Screenpresentation' to 'Slide Show' ? This makes more
sense since we're quite agree on s/Page/Slide.
* The term 'Pen' and 'Brush' are just 'Line' and 'Fill' settings in some other
applications. Can we use them as well ? IMHO pen and brush are just too
programmer-minded.
* Why is the Outline tab named as 'Outline' ? I don't see any outline in
there. I guess Agnubis does it right by naming it as just 'Title'.
* Presentation Structure Viewer: this is called Editor from Screenpresentation
menu. I bet that it should be just viewer (user can't edit anything there).
Possible idea for workaround: throw away the small preview are and make it as
floating tool.
* Why do we need 'Help Lines to Front' ? IMHO just visible and invisible help
lines should be adequate (same goes for grid points). OTOH do we also really
need menu items regarding help lines/grid points to be in context-menu (right
click) ?
* Selection tool is named as (see menu) Format -> Mouse. I guess simply
'Select' is already good. I also hate the new icon, the old one which
displays arrow (like a mouse cursor) is clearer than arrow surrounding by a
frame.
* There are quite number of so-called drawing object (Line, Freehand, Bezier
Curve, Rectangle, etc) in menu Insert. Wouldn't be better if we group it
together in one item, say Insert -> Drawing object
* Toolbars are cluttered with unnecessary actions. I mean, yes it's useful but
aren't we supposed to place only most-frequently used actions in toolbar ?
Even more, context-menu can be better used for many editing actions.
* Can we assign a shortcut key to 'Star slideshow' action ? During
presentation editing, this action is often used (at least, that's for me). F5
key like in Powerpoint could be a good candidate.
Comments ? Flames ?
