This is obviously a setup issue - I'm reassigning it to myself to get the traffic out \
of koffice-devel.   
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44854 and \
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41867 are  other reports with the same symptoms, \
but for different reasons (apparently they use a different  prefix, whereas you used \
the same prefix as KDE). Your KDE is in /usr too, right?  (Type "which kde-config" to \
make sure, and "which kword" to check where kword is)   
Please run this script to check your installation (and reply with its full output, \
unless you find the  problem).
