Well, if it is a library it should perhaps be LGPL2. That is KDE's habit for
libraries.

Yes, but as far as I know ( disclaimer: I am not a laywer ), as POI is non-GPL
compactible, you cannot link it with a GPL library! LGPL2 should work here.
Remains the problem with the multiple licences of QT.
