hrm.. it's in a very awkward place then... perhaps make it smaller (and 
without the background colour) and move it directly over the preview?
it probably shouldn't interfere with the iconview's positioning (since that 
can use as much screen space as it can get and is the focal point of the 
dialog) ...

and seeing as many who saw the screenshot weren't sure what it was, perhaps 
some sort of explanatory label would be in order such as "Description: 
shapes, signs and symbols". or, if it is over the preview something like:

Description
- --------------
shapes signs and symbols

Preview
- --------------
[Privew Box]


btw, how much more information over the clipart name will this description end 
up providing? i understand from Benoit's email it will be used in the search, 
but is it really necessary to have it prominently visible? will users even 
care to see it if it primarily contains a repetitious rewording of the group 
name?

information like the size of the image or even copyright would be far more 
useful and interesting IMHO...
