Ah, yes. I didn't understand you at first. I think this is a good idea, at 
least it makes sense in that the DOM reflects more what's going on 
internally.

Instead of storing raw vertex data, you're storing actions which could make it 
incredibly powerful. You could nest in actions like transforms, as well, and 
your command history would be saved over multiple sessions. This is Good!

If we ever get to the point of animation, this would be uber-useful too IMO.
