Does that mean you want to have TOC entries user-formattable independent
from each other?

Don't know how this can be achieved but the Microsofties used to have
(and still have?) a problem here: When updating a TOC the user-defined
formatting of single TOC entries was overwritten by the automatic
formatting and lost.

IMHO this should be prevented when implementing user-formattable TOC
entries in KOffice.
