Of course that would be impossible. But currently the original file's directory
doesn't count, the file always ends up in $HOME (unless you change it in the
print dialog). I also meant incomplete as in: doesn't fix the problem for other
apps than koffice.

Closing the bug, since it's no koffice bug, and AFAIK Michael is working on it
from the kdeprint side.

Hi 
Printing out of kword: 

1) If the last printer is "Print to PDF" the filename generated is "<filename>.ps". \
After changing the  printer to "print to ps" and back to "print to pdf" the filename \
is correct "<filename>.pdf".

2) If more then ONE document is open, "print to pdf" uses always the filename of the \
first document as pdf file name.
