I am in a position where I deal with professional DTP users and (lots more) simple users.=20 I also like UI design. Your points are well taken, but I am not going follow the way things have been done for millenia and nobody changes because nobody dares to simply because you want to, you are going to have better arguments then that. In short; the argument 'I don't want to see this dialog since I never use it' is not a good enough argument for me, as I showed in other emails. I have not heard other arguments since 'I am sure others feel like me' is not much more of an argument, now is it? > > I don't think the current behavior should change. >=20 > **** > What is so hard about adding a option box to the dialog "make my > selection default"? Inconsistent behavior is worse. Opening a file and then opening another to= =20 get the dialog you wanted in the first place? --=20 Thomas Zander zander@planescape.c= om We are what we pretend to = be --Dxnq1zWXvFF0Q93v Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE9B4gRCojCW6H2z/QRAnYGAJ90w0wWwN9BvhP1ZLKIp1NnOJDwJgCg0m9W dfsA+sitOOyDFw8/PBQpKUc= =uWyT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Dxnq1zWXvFF0Q93v-- _______________________________________________ koffice-devel mailing list koffice-devel@mail.kde.org http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice-devel
