hi...

i spent two days at the linuxTag with some other developers (like david and so 
on). there we thought about kdatabase.
we came to the result, that we should start with an existing backend (to know 
what we need) and paralel develop a engine.
also we shouldn't use that koffice-interface, as a database is a 
administartion-task and one won't create databases that much...

About mdi or not... i think we should leave the user this desition, so we 
should implement both...

Hm... what am i working on? i really think over dropping this project or 
not... it wasn't a good start i think.... also i guess with a clean start, we 
would get more interested and active developers, if i decide to hold this 
project i'll start looking at the sql-plugins.
