Hi,

I'm a bit excited to tell you that karbon14 has eps import now. The 
interesting fact is that scripting like

0 10 350 {
  gsave
  12 12 translate
  rotate
  2.5 0 moveto .5 -.2 rlineto 0 .4 rlineto
  closepath
  fill
  grestore
} for

works, as you can see in the screenshot (the triangles are editable 
independently).
Speed could be improved, but hey - you could run your file import over night.
