In the same way C++-code is a wrapper for other formats: by putting
stuff into comment-blocks (as it is done with the preview section in
EPS, they are NOT part of the postscript-language. The functions
"image/cimage" dont accept gif, jpeg, word etc.).

But most important: i dont think it makes sense for an import filter to
read the low resolution preview image.

Which one of those many "real worlds" do you mean? One without
(cutting)-plotters?
