For xslt > is not really a document format, > Waiting for comments ... According to section 8.17 of the (proposed) RFC 3023 ( ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc3023.txt ) the right mime type for xslt should be "application/xslt+xml" As it not yet a standard, "text/xml" or "application/xml" should be used (cf. section 1 of XSLT Recommendation ( http://www.w3c.org/TR/xslt ). However, KDE cannot use these xml mime types for xslt, therefore we should better use draft RFC 3023 (or perhaps "application/x-xslt+xml") As for fo files, I would propose to use: "application/x-xslfo+xml" In general the problem that we face here is that for W3C everything are XML files, so that there is no need for new mime types. However, KDE needs more mime types. Therefore I suggest to use new private mime types. Note: "application" does not really mean anymore that it is linked to an application. It has shifted to be for any form of document, in paritcular if the document does not look good when displayed as text to a standard user. > > :))))))))))))))))) > > bobby Have a nice day/evening/night! _______________________________________________ koffice-devel mailing list koffice-devel@mail.kde.org http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice-devel
