Hi,

I have been playing around with some desktop files to make KOffice register 
that it can open MS Office documents in Konqueror.

I attach a diff of what I have changed in Makefile.am.

I also attache the msword.deskto file that I created.

With the change, after running :

make -f Makefile.cvs && ./configure --prefix=$KDEDIR && cd kword && make

I'm given:

kdecvs@venus:~/koffice/kword> make
Makefile:866: *** missing separator (did you mean TAB instead of 8 spaces?).  
Stop.

Any idea what's gone wrong here?

This is an extract from around line 866 of kword/Makfile:

        $(KOTEXT_INCLUDES) $(all_includes)
                kwviewmode.cc \
        kwtextparag.cc kwtextdocument.cc \
        kwframe.cc kwtextframeset.cc \
        kwtableframeset.cc kwtextimage.cc kwanchor.cc \

I can't understand how my change would have impacted this?

Also, what's the procedure for getting comments in .desktop files translated?
