Ditto for
- - kontour (application and image)
- - kformula (application)
- - kchart (application)
- - graphite (application and image?)

Also register types for the different doctypes.
e.g. kspread's maindoc.xml: text/vnd.kde.kspread+xml (cf. rfc3023)

Sample registration drafts:

** kword

     To: ietf-types@iana.org
Subject: Registration of MIME media type application/vnd.kde.kword

     MIME media type name: application

     MIME subtype name: vnd.kde.kword

     Required parameters: none

     Optional parameters: <any ideas?>

Encoding considerations: Binary or base64 required

     Security considerations:

As of this writing, KWord documents do not contain any active
content. As such, it is believed that usage of this mimetype
does not introduce security concerns other than those already
inherent in Unix tar files, XML <add more>

It is expected that later versions of KWord feature scripting
and macro recording facilities. It is, however, not intended
to include these active content into the KWord document itself.

KWord documents include document metadata such as the name of
the author, etc. However, none of this data is written
automatically. The KWord user has full control over what
metadata is to be included and must actively request the
inclusion. As such, the use of this mimetype does not lead to
hidden leaking of possibly sensitive data.

     Interoperability considerations:

An equivalent subtype of the multipart branch, which does
include the plain files instead of compressing a Unix tar file
containing them is under consideration in the KDE community.
Since such a mimetype directly exposes the raw XML files and
images the document consists of, and since these data types
are openly and commonly used elsewhere, interoperabilty with
non-Unix users is enhanced by eventually using the multipart
	subtype.

     Published specification:

A KWord document is simply a gzip-compressed Unix tar file
including a XML document and embedded images in formats
commonly found on the internet (e.g. PNG, JPEG).
	<is there any better?>

Applications which use this media type:

All applications in the KDE KOffice Office Suite, esp. KWord.

     Additional information:

       Magic number(s): <any?>
       File extension(s): KWD, KWT
       Macintosh File Type Code(s): n/a
