Since someone beat you to the RTF one, you will be pleased to know that the PPT one is up for grabs. What I have already done is: 
 
1. Create the infrastructure for it 
 
2. Create a very simple import filter, which can import the text (i.e. bullets) for at least one simple PPT file I have. 
 
Please feel free to pick up what is there and extend it! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.
