Which version of GCC was KOffice 1.1 compiled with? With GCC 2.96 (as
supplied with Mandrake 8.0) I get an internal error when the filters are
being compiled (1.1 release sources):
c++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../../../.. -I. -I./.. -I/opt/kde/include
-I/usr/lib/qt2/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -ansi -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500
-D_BSD_SOURCE -Wbad-function-cast -Wcast-align -Wundef -Wconversion
-fno-builtin -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -g -O2 -Wall -pedantic -W
-Wpointer-arith -Wmissing-prototypes -Wwrite-strings -fno-exceptions
-fno-check-new -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -c
stream.cc -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/stream.o
stream.cc: In method `QpIStream &QpIStream::operator>> (QP_INT64 &)':
stream.cc:195: Internal error: Segmentation fault.
As far as I can see there is no higher version of 2.96 apart from the 3.x
GCCs - should KOffice be compiled with GCC 3?
