Package: koffice
Version: koffice (using KDE 2.2.0 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 2.95.2
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

attached is a xls file which when opened in staroffice displays the 12 months of the \
year correctly. It does not do so in KOffice with the following problems : several \
lines above where the months should be have a huge height the text is not displayed \
correctly ( it seems to be print at an angle (i.e. it is not exactly horizontal ) \
the day of the month does not seem to be interpreted correctly ( it is displayed as \
'010 for the 10th day - this can only be seen by using the value entering text box ). \
there seems to be grahic "artifacts" on the right-hand side of the vertical scroll \
bar and under the horizontal bar - I am using mosfets liquid theme and these \
artifacts may be due to something mentioned about the that theme setting the size of \
scroolbars to 15 from the standard 16 ?

some of the names of the days of the week are not displayed.

There is no indication on this bug description page that the next page contains a \
possibility of me being able to add a file, so if that is not possible simply email \
me.

Thanks for the great app,
CP.Hennessy@iname.com
