I have been using Staroffice for at least a year under Windows.
It does very much the same as MS-Office. ( it takes MS-word and Excel doc)
The problem in windows as well is that it takes a long time for the program
to come up ( I have a 233MHZ Cyrix CPU and 64 Ram).
When I changed over to Linux , I found it very disappointing that I cannot
use StarOffice because of the loooooooooong time it takes to come up.
It also seems to use all the recources. WhaTtmeans I can't let it load in the
back while doing something.
