And some like their re-writing (of which I do a lot) to be free 
of having to even think of misspellings.  My favorite spelling 
feature is "auto-correct" which fixes my most common spelling 
errors as I type.  I don't even have to think about it.

I also find that a misspelling "feels" wrong and I go back to 
correct it, anyway.  The underline makes it much easier to spot 
and faster.  As has been said repeatedly, different writers have 
different needs and wants in writing.  There is absolutely NO 
single BEST way to write and claims to the contrary seek to 
force an ever-shifting majority's opinion on all the rest of us.

Sorry.  I like choices and I prefer for them to be easily made.
