I have the same problems since the beginning of qpro filter.
I am using RedHat 6.2 with a 2.4.4 kernel, qt-2.2.4 and kdelibs-2.1.2.

Two days ago on http://bugs.kde.org/db/26/26060.html Graham suggested 
removing inlines from one of the header files but this didn't helped me.

Maybe the problems are related to compiler?
Slack 7.1 and RH 6.2 are still using egcs-1.1.2 (gcc 2.91.66) which eg. Mdk 
8.0 and some other distros doesn't use.
