Hi, all,
I would like to contribute templates, which I think that KWord, in
particular, is lacking. I have started creating some, but how do I
go about getting them reviewed and placed in the CVS tree? Also, I
would like to edit documentation, but I can't find any in my working
directory. Is there a separate CVS project for the documentation?
Where can I find it? Is the docs source in SGML or somthing similar?
Lastly, I posted some mail last week about CVS integration (from
inside KWord in particular, but possibly from the other apps as
well), but I think that some discussion is required. The initial
idea that I had was something along the lines of an ioslave that
implemented connectivity to a CVS repository. After a while, though,
I thought that perhaps this wasn't the right way to go about it. The
save function should still save to a local working directory, not
directly to any repository. However, perhaps there should be
synchronisation functions which will synchronise what's in a 'working
directory' with what's in a repository, and this is pretty similar to
what a CVS plug-in would do in an IDE. So, we could perhaps co-opt
the CVS plug-in from KDevelop, and then we're a step closer to
document management. Thoughts...
