Dear KOffice-Team,

the original FTP-Server of KDE has a lot of surprises for its users ;-). 
However it is *not* possible to download the beta version of KOffice, because 
"for anonymous users it is not allowed to download a big file like that."

Very nice. Never heard a thing like this ;-). 

Some other mirrors work. But IMHO that is a poor situation. Such splendid 
software should not be drawn down by a server like ftp.kde.org. Indeed: you 
work in your spare-time without earning any money - thats right. But IMHO you 
are working for interested users, for users e.g. that migrate from Windows to 
Linux, not in the first case for those who preferably work with the console 
(like me ;-)). It is not such a good suggestion, if KDE has such splendid 
work to offer, such a good website - and such a poor FTP-Server ;-).
