That's even more odd.  I can't think of anything that would cause that other than the plugin \
not loading.  Does the cursor change to a line with a plus?

The only way I can see to debug this would be to insert some debugging statements into the \
activate and mouseDown code.

I'll get back in contact with you later tonight, I'm at work right now.
