Greetings!

Thanks to all the great Koffice developers for koffice beta 1.

I just finished compiling and installing koffice beta 1 on a Mandrake 7.2 
workstation.

Before this I uninstalled koffice and koffice-devel rpms.

When I start /usr/local/kde/bin/koshell I get no icons on the left panel and 
the following messages in the xterm where I start:

fatal parsing error: error while parsing element in line 1
fatal parsing error: error while parsing prolog in line 1
Parsing error
fatal parsing error: unexpected end of file in line 1
fatal parsing error: error while parsing prolog in line 1
Parsing error

When I start /usr/local/kde/bin/kword I get:

koffice (lib kofficecore): ERROR: Couldn't find the native MimeType in 
kword's desktop file. Check your installation !


What can I do to fix these problems?
