To download SO5.2 go to http://www.sun.com and click on the StarOffice icon 
on the top.  There are icons with number of downloads, SO is one of them.  
You will have to register but is not too much of an effort.

SO takes forwever to load, but once it is up it is very usefull.  Just 
minimize it, or reserve a desktop for SO and keep it up the whole time.
