Sorry, no! For now, there is no OpenOffice filter for KOffice.
Please look at http://www.koffice.org/filters/status.phtml for the status of the different filters.

I have imported successfully PowerPoint files into StarOffice 5.2 on Linux.

OpenOffice is the GPL version of StarOffice.  Would the KOffice project be 
able to use the OpenOffice PowerPoint filters?
