I had a look into FAQ, but didn't find any clues there. In counties where
other languages are used, we frequently find that it is very difficult,
expensive or even impossible to compile one's own MAIN DICTIONARY for spell
checking in non-English languages.

Example: WordPerfect had a SPUTL program in its older versions which one
could use to compile your own Main Dictionary by importing a WP file or even
text file containing a word list. This was very handy and we used it to
build dictionaries for Afrikaans (WP language code AF) for clients. You
could then even include technical dictionaries for specific clients. With
later versions, after Corel took over, you did not have that anymore and on
request I was told that you have to pay an "agent" company a fee to compile
the Main Dictionary. This was not an economical option for us and the WP
clients simply moved over to MsWord, as we could not help them on WP
anymore. We have an NDA with Microsoft for the development of our own spell
checker and Thesaurus software and thus we could help them quite easily.

I see you use ISpell for KDE products. I am not familiar with the it. Where
can I get more info about it? Can we compile our own Main Dictionaries or at
least develop our own s/w to hand shake with ISpell for Spell Checking and
Thesaurus functions?
