     Hi all,

reading several postings about the web page I asked myself why there is no
KDE web group which is responsible for all KDE web pages. I am quite sure
that there are a lot of people who don't know how to program C++ but who can
make a nice web page. A KDE web group would be a good thing for all: the
coders which don't have to "waste" their time with design issues and the
users which are interested in KDE will be happy with nicer web pages. As
someone mentioned before: a cool app is not enough to be successfull, at
least 50% of the total success come from a good web page. (And while I love
the koffice project I have to admit that the gnome web pages look much better
to me).

I would volunteer to organize things (creating a list and asking the various
projects like kfm, kdevelop etc. if they are interested) but I am afraid that
I am not the right person who can coordinate such a group since my knowledge
of web design is very small.

     Yours sincerely

     Marco Krohn

P.S. The gnome web group announcement can be found here:
