Can you please send me your ~/.kde/share/config/ksycoca file?
After you have done that could try each of the following and check after each 
one if you can start killustrator:

* Run "kded"
* Run "kbuildsycoca --incremental"
* Run "kbuildsycoca".
* Delete ~/.kde/share/config/ksycoca and run "kbuildsycoca".
