Well, of course the filters are an interesting thing. But this is not just 
some simple porting; the code is not very documented at all. I guess the best 
we can do for now is use the StarOffice code to get some ideas about 
individual file formats when we get stuck with developing our own filters. 
For example, if, say, Shaheed has a problem with implementing reading of 
embedded tables in MS-Word documents, he might be able to get some hints by 
looking at the StarOffice source code.

Apart from them, I doubt that we can take much. This is one big heap of code, 
and just finding a bit that we could use probably takes longer than 
implementing it ourselves, let alone adapting it.
