I will take out those lines and put the patch back on my web site within
a few hours.  I think the diff utility doesn't recongize the strange
charachers and mangles them, because I certainly didn't change any ot
the translations, but it's probably harmless as the translations aren't
used yet in Kimageshop, and the translators will have to deal with these
messages and the po files later. The web address is:

The patch is really too big for this mailing list - over 40 k, so it was
help up for moderation. 

I'll ask for cvs access tomorrow and will need that to work on
KImageshop and possibly Kword as well, although I will keep sending
KWord patches through Thomas Zander.  

I've corresponded with Torp at theKompany who is also working on
KImageshop with the goal of merging our patches.  I'm sending a copy to
this to him.  Torp, just take out the .desktop changes from the diff as
they're not needed anyway, if you haven't already.  Also, if you have
any news please post here or on the other koffice list (koffice-dev).

I'm going to go ahead and commit my patches as soon as possible because
I don't want these patches to pile up, assuming that I get the needed
access.  
Nothing has been changed in weeks on cvs with Kimageshp (just checked)
and these changes are needed.
