The one thing I've noticed lacking in linux is professional business
software. Recently, Corel Wordperfect has helped. Staroffice doesn't work
for me, and I haven't tried Applixware. However, the development of Koffice
has been very exciting!

I was at work today, using an excel spreadsheet to make a mail merge in word,
specifying an Avery Label type, so that I could print off a couple thousand
mailing labels in a couple of minutes. How close is Koffice to having this
sort of functionality? I'd really love to use linux at work *big grin*.

Does Killistrator open *.eps files (encapsulated postscript)?

Once the applications that are currently in development have reached a stable
and fairly mature state, I'd like to see a kde equivalent of quickbooks (pro)
come along. Money management software would fill in a big gap for a lot of
people.

Keep up the good work!
