To answer the question about KWord.

As most of you know, we are working with Kawail in Thailand. We are
paying for the developers, and they are finding and housing them. So
far we have interviewed a bunch of people, and for one reason or
another, none have been hired yet, mostly because they weren't
experienced enough. Kawail is expanding their net to try and bring
people in.

Once we have the programmers, and believe me, no one thought it would
take this long, they will be working in the KDE CVS. The only stuff we
are keeping in our CVS is new projects that are just starting out.

So far we are working on, or will be working on that are part of KOffice

KWord
KImageShop (renamed Krayon by popular demand)
Kivio (Visio type program - new to KOffice)
Rekall (MS Access type program - new to KOffice)
