I was experiencing the same trouble (in kdebase though) . I can only find
one explanation (not sure it's the truth, but at least it worked for me) :
With the recent qt updates the moc revision changed. Deleting all .moc
files (a quick find . -name "*.moc" -exec rm {} \; ) followed by a
recompilation solved the problem for me. (no more crashes in the
QMetaObject destructor) .
