Huh... this will get pretty hacky, when we'd try to achieve that :)
I'm not sure if this would be worth all the trouble.

Because of the doc/view model you are able to have multiple views
(at the moment this means "windows"). Whenever you'll be able to
split the view of one window (currently keeps crashing, will have to
investigate :) it's impossible for the programm to know which "layout"
to save.... and then he hack comes to my mind we'd have to
introduce saving information from the shell (=window) to the document.
Brrrr.... :(

Sorry, but this is not feasible, IMHO.

It's possible - you can even have horizontal and vertical splitters.
(Not at the same time, though - either all are horiz. or vert.)

Don't know if I can track the splitter (the line between the two
views)...
